Academic Collaboration Seed Grant Program

The New York Six Liberal Arts Consortium is pleased to offer seed grant opportunities to encourage faculty to develop new partnerships and academic collaborations.  Seed grants of up to $2,000 are available to support groups of faculty, staff, and/or students from three or more member campuses. Faculty who are currently involved in or are interested in developing new academic collaborations are invited to submit proposals for funding to support their project.  

Previously funded projects:

Challenges and Possibilities of INDS Programs in the NY6. Principal organizer: Elizabeth Belanger (Hobart and William Smith Colleges).

NY6 Consortium for the Cultivation of Future Teachers. Principal organizers: Margery Gardner and Mark Stern (Colgate University).

Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology in the Liberal Arts College (CLAC): Exploring Best Practices for Teaching, Advising, Practice, Scholarship, and Service (TAPSS). Principal organizer: Cay Anderson-Hanley (Union College).

Deadlines for Funding Requests:

November 1: For primary activities occurring between Jan. 1 and June 30

May 1: For primary activities occurring between July 1 and December 31
