Attention students! Apply now for a summer fellowship!

New York Six students have the opportunity to conduct research at another intitution this summer! Upstate Summer Research Fellows spend the summer working with a faculty mentor from a peer institution and interacting with other summer research students.

UPSTATE SUMMER RESEARCH FELLOWS PROGRAM

The New York Six Upstate Summer Research Fellows Program funds students to conduct research under the direction of a faculty mentor, ideally at another New York Six institution. For full descriptions of the available research projects, please see the “Summer 2019 Research Positions” document attached below.

Student fellowships last 6-8 weeks with the expectation that the student will work full-time on a research project at the host institution. Students awarded a fellowship will receive a $450 weekly stipend for the duration of the fellowship. Room, board, and transportation are arranged separately out of the stipend funds. Fellows may not accept another position during their fellowship appointment.

Fellows will report on their projects at the 2019 Undergraduate Research Conference to be held on Saturday, October 26 at Union College.
