International Student Summit Held at Hobart and William Smith Colleges

On October 19-20, 44 students from five member schools met at Hobart and William Smith Colleges for an International Student Summit. In addition to networking and social activities, the students participated in panel discussions on Mental Health/Stress Management and Transitions into Liberal Arts College Life. The panelists were student volunteers from each school. Prof. Khuram Hussain, Associate Professor of Education and Dean of Hobart College, gave the keynote address.

When asked what their favorite part of the event was, one student enthusiastically replied "Getting to interact with the international students from other colleges!" Others were excited to see another college, commenting on the "lovely people and the campus" and the "lake and the campus are extremely beautiful."

Thank you to David Gage and everyone at Hobart and William Smith Colleges for their hard work to make this event possible. We also thank the International Student Advisors across the New York Six who planned the event and facilitated student participation.
