The New York Six Associate Deans of Faculty Working Group announces a new initiative to identify opportunities for spouses and partners of candidates for faculty positions.  Working group members belong to a listserv on which deans share C.V.'s/resumes of job-seeking partners and spouses.  In addition, couples can use the links below to easily access job postings at schools across the Consortium:

Monthly meeting of Study Abroad Collaboration working group members.  This month's call will focus on providing updates on the status of revisions to NY6 school policies and procedures regarding Title IX cases abroad, as well as information on the upcoming Kenya program site visit, faculty program directors meetings for Spain and France, and plans for collaboration on pre-departure videos and/or re-entry programming.

The New York Six Liberal Arts Consortium has been exploring ways to expand instruction in the less-commonly taught languages (LCTLs) through various instructional collaborations.  Several of these pilot courses and proposals have been modeled after a shared course initiative pioneered by Columbia, Cornell and Yale Universities.
