The New York Six Upstate Summer Research Fellows Program brings students and faculty together in synergistic ways around important scholarly topics relevant to the upstate New York region. This Upstate Summer Research Fellows Program will fund fellows to conduct research under the direction of a faculty mentor, ideally at another New York Six institution.
This inter-institutional research program aims to do the following:
The New York Six is pleased to offer Hindi 101 in the spring 2019 semester. The class is offered synchronously with a Syracuse University instructor. New York Six students can cross-register with Syracuse University for home school credit at no additional charge.
The class meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:25 am to 9:20 am.

The first New York Six career fair, called NY6 Career | Connect, will be held Saturday, September 15, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at St. Lawrence University. The event will be held at SLU's Sullivan Student Center, and coincides with the 8th Annual NY6 Undergraduate Research Conference.

Twenty-five study abroad professionals from across the New York Six institutions gathered at Hope Lake Lodge and Conference Center for their second annual staff retreat.
