CNY Humanities Corridor Invites Proposals

The 2019-2020 proposal period for Central New York Humanities Corridor funding is now open. Faculty members at New York Six member institutions are invited to submit proposals for new or existing working groups in the Corridor's eight research clusters. 

The eight clusters are: 

Archives and Media (AM)
Digital Humanities (DH)
Historical Studies (HS)
Linguistics (LIN)
Literature, Language, and Culture (LLC)
Musicology/Performance Studies (MP)

NY6 Presidents Comment on Proposed Title IX Regs

The presidents of the New York Six member institutions have submitted a joint comment letter concerning the U.S. Department of Education's proposed regulations for Title IX, citing provisions that would be harmful to individuals involved in sexual assault cases, as well as inconsistencies with existing New York state law, known as "Enough is Enough." 

The letter reads in part,
